Ahead of the European Council meeting on 15–16 October 2026, we support this open letter calling on EU Member States to preserve and defend a robust AgoraEU budget in the next Multiannual Financial Framework (2028–2034). AgoraEU is essential to strengthening media freedom, culture, civic participation, social cohesion and democratic resilience across Europe.
